Stoopid Comics 2 : Get Manny

According to an article on CNN.com Chef Julia Child, Supreme Court Justice Arthur Goldberg, former White Sox catcher Moe Berg and others, where part of an international secret spy organization known as the Office of Strategic Services (OSS).  The OSS was suppose to counter the Nazis furing World War II.  They were made up of celebrities, educators, military personnel, athletes, lawyers and media members.  The OSS later became the Central Intelligence Agency.

This got me thinking.  What's to stop the government from doing this now?  In the movie "Zoolander," male models are used as assassins because they are in shape and they can get into high profile locations with their celebrity status.  The perfect person I could think of for this situation was Major League Baseball player, Manny Ramirez.

Manny Ramirez is recognized as one of the best hitters in baseball.  He has celebrity status.  He's an athlete, although he doesn't always hustle.  He can be a little crazy hence the phrase "Manny being Manny," but maybe it's just a ploy to throw everyone off.  He now wears the number 99, which is the same number as super spy, Agent 99 from the TV show "Get Smart."  And he did become a US citizen in 2004.

All of this is just speculation, and probably isn't true, but with all the crazy things that are going on in the world, it wouldn't suprise me if this was revealed 50 years from now.  If something happens to me.....
